    CE01ISSM-SBD17-06-CTDBPC000
    Deployment: 2
    1/2/15, 8:00 AM 4/12/15, 12:00 AM

There are recovered_host and telemetered data available for the second half of deployment 2 (2015-01-02T08:00:00 to 2015-04-12T00:00:00), and the same data are not available in the recovered_inst data stream. These data should be available in the recovered_inst data stream (or annotated if there was an issue with internally recording data).

    Deployment: 8
    1/11/18, 12:00 AM 4/1/18, 12:00 AM

Missing data at the end of deployment 8 should be annotated.

    Deployment: 7
    4/19/17, 4:18 AM 10/12/17, 9:50 PM

Values are negative for this deployment. This should be investigated and fixed or annotated.

    Deployment: 4
    10/8/15, 12:00 AM 10/9/15, 12:00 AM

There are 2 data points available for this deployment of this instrument. The dataset should be annotated if there was an issue.

The variable pressure_depth (dbar) is an array of all fill values for every deployment. This should contain valid pressure data.

During deployments 2 - 8 and 10, there are 7 - 40 pressure (dbar) data points that are outliers (much deeper than the max deployment depth of 25m).

According to Roesler and Barnard (Optical proxy for phytoplankton biomass in the absence of photophysiology: Rethinking the absorption line height, Methods in Oceanography, 2013), “absorption meters are highly prone to biofouling, particularly biofilms which not only attenuate the collimated beam but also impact the scattering properties of the optical surfaces and tubes. In productive coastal waters biofouling can have significant impacts (i.e. 10% of the signal) within one to two weeks”.

The file coordinate pressure_depth is an array of all zeros for every deployment. The variable in the file called int_ctd_pressure has what appears to be valid pressure data. The coordinate variable pressure_depth should contain valid pressure data.
