Description

Dissolved oxygen at the seafloor at shallow depths (here at 25 dbar) can vary widely. This example shows 1.5 months of data in June-July 2014 where dissolved oxygen co-varied with temperature and salinity. Zooming in to a few days in June shows a 12-hour / daily cycle of spikes of dissolved oxygen corresponding with spikes of seawater temperature.
