The SBE43 dissolved oxygen sensor (DOFST-K) was incorrectly assembled and stored resulting in the membrane drying out and tearing in one case. Clarification with the vendor on the proper assembly and storage techniques corrected the problem, however the data collected by the DOFST-K during deployments 1-3 is erroneous and should not be used. The data for this time period is excluded to avoid having it incorrectly used and disseminated.
