* UPDATED, 2019-01-25: After careful review, the original data product algorithm (pco2_pco2wat) for this sensor was found to contain an error that resulted in calculation of incorrect derived L1 pCO2 values. In consultation with the vendor, the algorithm has been corrected, verified, and uploaded to the OOI system. This update, effective 2019-01-10, applies to all deployments for this sensor. All derived L1
pCO2 data products generated prior to this date should be re-requested in order to ensure utilization of the correct algorithm. The updated algorithm can be viewed at https://github.com/oceanobservatories/ion-functions/blob/master/ion_functions/data/co2_functions.py. * Until further notice, derived L1 pCO2 data products from this sensor are incorrect and should not be used. A significant discrepancy has been uncovered between the pCO2 values from shipboard water samples vs. values calculated by OOI system. The pco2_pco2wat algorithm is under review and can be viewed at https://github.com/ooici/ion-functions/blob/master/ion_functions/data/co2_functions.py. All seafloor Multi-Function Node (MFD35 and MFD37) instruments have ceased data telemetry because the seafloor multi-function node had a high voltage ground fault and has been shut down to protect the instruments. Instrument on battery power will continue to collect data.

Deployment 11: *UPDATED 2020-06-22: As of 2020-05-05 the ISSM MFN is back online in a reduced power usage mode. All MFN instruments will be powered on and sample 4 times a day (as opposed to 6 times a day). Data from this instruments will be telemetered home with the exception of the OPTAA which will only be availabe upon recovery. *UPDATED 2020-04-27: The MFN has been offline since 2019-01-03 and no telemetered data are expected from MFN instruments for the remainder of the deployment.*MFN offline due to power shortage after WT2 failure from 12/27/2019 to 12/30/2019 and again from 1/3/2019 to 1/6/2019. Instruments with external batteries will continue to log data internally.

Deployment 11: UPDATED 2020-04-27: As of 2020-03-12 telemetered data for most instruments are being sent home via Iridium. A gap in telemetered data is expected between 2020-01-08 and 2020-03-12 and will not be backfilled but these data will be available upon recovery.* As of 2020-01-08 both fleet broadband telemetry pathways have failed and data can no longer be telemetered to shore from this mooring. Instruments will continue to log data which will be available upon recovery.

There is no pressure variable in the .nc files. This should be a coordinate.

There are no recovered_inst data available for download for any deployment. According to the ingest csvs, the recovered_inst raw data files are available for deployments 1-3, and 5-7. These files should be ingested or the datasets should be annotated to explain why the recovered_inst data aren't available.

Data generally look suspect for many deployments because of the high percentage of values outside of global ranges. The dataset should be annotated if there is a known issue with this instrument to inform users if all or some data should be considered suspect.
