In mid- to late-January 2017 CP05MOAS-GL336 (deployment 4) captured a band of relatively warm, saltier water just off the shelf break from the surface to approximately 300m. This is most likely an eddy ring from the Gulf Stream (check satellite data). This highlights the utility of having gliders sampling the region beyond where the moorings are located.
The signal looks like it's captured on the offshore METBK and the 7m CTD on the surface mooring - there are no good offshore profiler data for this time range
