Description

The pCO2 Air-Sea instruments located on surface buoys measure the partial pressure of CO2 in both the atmosphere and the ocean. From these measurements, CO2 flux from the ocean to the atmosphere can be calculated to determine which locations and time periods the ocean is a source vs a sink of CO2. Note (as of 11/13/2019): the CO2 flux calculation is currently only working for Endurance datasets (see helpdesk ticket 14527), however the system is somehow reversing the CO2 flux values it calculates (see helpdesk ticket 14531). So, the user needs to calculate flux themselves, which means they have to also download the collocated METBK data.
